Topos 15 years, 7 months agoWhat is Landscape Urbanism? A discipline, an instrument or just a term to promote people and programmes? How is this term defined in relation to landscape architecture, a term that has proven suitable internationally until now? Do new responsibilities in practice and theory also need new designations? LEED in Landscape Architecture 15 years, 7 months agoDoes anybody have any experience with LEED projects in India? We are working on a possible LEED ND project in Tamil Nadu and I’m not sure how some of the US requirements will transfer over there. Is the USGBC pretty amenable to adjusting the prerequisites based on differences in infrastructure systems?

Middle East Landscape 15 years, 7 months agoHi all, since i’ve dabbled into the ME market, i believe it would be a good thing to join the group for all what its worth. Even though some may consider the market is slowing down, from my observation is that there are still plenty of works around. Have a nice day y’all.

L.A.R.E. – ANYTHING GOES 15 years, 8 months agoOnce upon a time, the reference manual had symbols for plants used in planting plan vignettes. These disappeared in 2006. I suspect this is what you may be referring to.
Susannah,
One vignette solution showed a swale constructed entirely in fill adjacent to a road. There was clearly no need for a swale given the existing topo depicted. They also…[Read more]
