My experience with 3ds max 2010 on Windows 7 Enterprise x64 has been very good. Its certainly a huge step up from Vista. I’ve got a nice set of graphics cards though so maybe thats the difference. What kind of hardware are you running?

So what are people’s experiences with windows 7 and max? I am running 7 professional 64bit and max 2010 64 bit and having some problems, mainly graphics card related. very low fps which is making it hard to model. though I am hoping that max 2011 which comes out in the next month will help.

I know many of you are concerned with the cost of Labash….well let me reassure you about what you are getting for the money!!!

I know of network rending, and have a vauge idea of how to do it, but I have yet to actually try it out. advice on learning to use 3dmax? i am so impressed with the images and would love to play, but am unsure how or where to begin. any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Here’s some trees I got a couple years back. They’re even labeled which is nice but due to size constraints I can’t send each individual tree already cut out. Just layer use selective color tool in PS and they come up pretty nice

I got a bunch of stuff for max. Onyx TreeStorm which is pretty good though memory intensive depending on the amount of polygons.

Has anybody seen Vray RT the new realtime renderer? Looks really good….

I won’t post the five pictures because they are really large but the season change in these is really good.
