COMPETITIONS – ongoing 15 years, 2 months agoNew brief for the Annual Cleveland Competition comes out in a week. Might be a bit more architecturally oriented this year (design for a transit center), but should still have some master planning efforts and good public space design.

LEED in Landscape Architecture 15 years, 2 months agoI’m in Southern California too and passed the exam just before the cutoff – it only took 6 or so weeks to get my certificate and listing on the website. I know they are a little behind because of the rush to take the exam before the v2.2 cutoff, but I would be a little more proactive if I was you…you don’t want this to fall through the cracks…[Read more]

LEED in Landscape Architecture 15 years, 2 months agoCheck your status on the USGBC web site. If you are listed as a LEED AP there, everything should be fine and you can assume they are just behind in sending out the certificates.

COMPETITIONS – ongoing 15 years, 2 months agoBefore you embark on any competition I advise you to check the political context. Bevare of any competition that has politicians as judges. Anglo – saxon countries have tendency to compromise the results and often completely change the outcome.
