Habitat Restoration and Mitigation 17 years, 9 months agoI’ve worked on a lot of other restoration projects, establishing wetlands in industrial estates and often roadside habitats. In heavily farmed areas roadside verges are often the only source of remnant vegetation and can therefore be incredibly important for local gene pools.

Habitat Restoration and Mitigation 17 years, 9 months agoWe have an aboriginal education team and indigenous bush foods and tools plantings which are just aobut to be extended through a recent grant. They are based out of a beautiful gum leaf shaped shelter that strangely does not appear on our website. I’ll have to take one myself.

Middle East Landscape 17 years, 10 months agoThe accreditation system seems quite blurry for now this side, save bulletins for seminars by the Emirates Green Building Council (initiative by HH Sheik Makhtoum), but developers are taking notice. Middle East Landscape 17 years, 10 months agoHello all.
Three questions for all. (1) How significant is the LEED initiatives of the UAE (or the GCC in general) to your current projects and practice? (2) Is LEED accreditation a must in your office? (3) Have your office/EGBC/local LEED contacts informed you of the process to get accreditation?
A mouthful but important. Thanks in advance for…[Read more]
