I thought it was great – especially Dominique’s experience with SSI for Lenexa City Center project. Several of the pre-requisites were un-achievable on that one. Those points were very worthy, highlighted the critical importance of proper site selction and deemed certainly worth keeping central in the SSI focus, but totally screwd the pooch (so to speak) on this project (and how many others?), because they were too far down the path at the current site to redirect elsewhere, which made them ineligible for the whole thing. There was great discussion about weighing the dilution of the initiative against being achievable enough to go after. What’s the point in having a) a watered down initiative v. b) an initiative that can only be sought after 5% of the time, because the prerecs are so strict.
All, did I get that right? What if you got one mulligan to waive one prerequisite? Hmmm. Have a great weekend!
