I’m taking the California CSE exam in he next couple of weeks and my weakest section is plants. Does anyone know if the test gives you both common and botanical names, are you expected to memorize all botanical names?

I walk by this little plaza all the time. It’s fantastic and everyone really seems to be liking it, except the bikers. Apparently it’s blocking a bike lane or something.

I’ve been using Rhino and just a word of caution, it is primarily an industrial design 3D modeling program and I’ve found that it does not work well for large scale applications. It exceeds in designing small elements, which can then be exported into other programs that work better with land manipulation.

Since work has slowed down a bit it has allowed me to take my licensure exams and study for LEED. I’ve been finding joy in having the spare time to brush up on my education, computer skills and begin practicing photography. LEED has been growing extremely fast these couple of years, at least in California and the bay area. Clients, public and private, are becoming much more aware of LEED and are requesting that we follow the requirements whether they are or are not applying for accreditation on a project.
