Yunxin Du

Hi! My name is Yunxin Du. I was inspired a lot by various projects that Land8 has done and sent this email to apply for the landscape designer position. I am currently a graduate student in the Master of Landscape Architecture program at the University of Washington and expected to graduate in June 2019. I will available from Aug 2019.

I had two internship experiences in the past two years. I worked for SLA – Urbanity | Strategy | Landscape, Denmark from 2018.8 to 2018.12 as an intern designer. Worked in the international competition team, I was assigned to various projects and worldwide competitions. I helped in developing the concept and schematic design, and preparing competition boards through Indesign, Photoshop, illustrators, AutoCAD, as well as Rhino. I also did a three months internship in East China Architectural Design & Research Institute (ECADI). I worked interdisciplinary with architects and urban designers.

I’m confident with my CAD, RHINO, Sketchup, PS, AI, Indesign and hand sketch skill. I hope to have a chance to work with talent and experienced landscape architects here.

As a passionate, adventurous explorer, I am confident that my experience in Landscape Architecture and my research and communication skills qualify me for consideration. Attached is my portfolio, my resumé, as well as a recommendation letter from my former project manager.
