I’m on my P2C at the moment. I think you can do it outside of the work. It’s not compulsory to have the mentor from the same office. I know someone whose mentor is from a different company. So, I think you should find yourself a mentor first, and then join a study group. Good Luck!
I’m not sure if this helps. Try to tidy up the drawing in CAD first. Such as: get rid of the defined thickness of polylines, make sure ‘continuous’ is selected under linetype, save as a lower version maybe 2004.
