This is a patio seating area I designed for a client in Florida in October 2011. The previous patio used Bluestone pavers that had since settled unevenly, making navigation to the pond overlook difficult and dangerous for the seniors living at the property. A new foot wall and handrail were also added as a wheelchair stop. My greatest joy is in seeing this space being used daily by residents when previously it was never used.
