The TD Outdoor Learning Centre is a small structure & learning space with special conservation features used to encourage the study of nature in Calgary’s Inglewood Bird Sanctuary. The heavy timber structure has a footprint slightly larger than a two-car garage, and was built in an area that had previously been used for construction staging during the 2013 flood in Calgary to ensure minimal impact to the sanctuary’s birds and natural environment. The purpose of the structure is to enhance citizen knowledge and appreciation of the areas natural surroundings
