I have owned both of these reference books and I am curious if LA’s prefer one over the other and if so, why.
My experience is that Time Saver Standards had good information but it was often hard to find what I was looking for, even when using the index. As of this writing (2018), LA Time Saver Standards (2nd edition) is 20 years old.

I have used AutoCAD at work. Rendering with Photoshop. As I have worked at smaller design-build, there have not been a need to learn 3D rendering. I’m teaching myself SketchUp.
