? How do you get that from what I just wrote? Two questions – one asking why Tanya is alone on this and another asking whether there are a lot of women in the profession out there.
… followed by an explanation that women do participate, are expected to participate, and lead where I live …and no one is taken aback by it.

Discrimination exists – if you don’t look at it, you can’t fight it..There are many subtleties and permutations of discrimination that are being, have been, and will continue to be, teased out in our society, and that have been fought against over time, and won and lost..
but it exists, and will continue to exist, and continue to be a worthy…[Read more] -

You just have to know how to use layer and build a library of trees, backgrounds, entourage, etc… Sketchup is a great quick tool to create the massing and get the proper perspective before going into photoshop. Vray and Podium are excellent plug-ins to create the photo-realistic effects you see in Rhino. 3ds Max is a…[Read more]

or who is doing the writing, Jason – Rupert Murdoch, aka, “The Wall Street Journal” has never been known for his allegiance to facts. sorry, bro, that is one source I will never even read anymore – it is like listening to FOX news – same owner, same bias, and lack of allegiance to truth..

There are no women-owned LA firms in my state. Mine will be the first when I get licensed later this year.

Are there any women owned LA firms out there? Where are the rest of the women in your state on this? Women are very well represented in my state and in my area.I don’t even belong to ASLA or BSLA and women are highly visible in LA work. They are also well represented and hold offices in the regional Landscape Contractor’s Association. Unlicensed…[Read more]

The purpose is to help anyone looking for employment in our field develop a clearer picture of companies hiring habits during the worst years of the recession/recovery. In othe…[Read more]

What do you mean by “found employment” since 2009? If I was employed in 2008, never laid-off and currently with the same company, then the survey isn’t for me? And what is the purpose of this survey? Just wondering.
By the way, for question #4, you should add an option for Recruitment Agency. A friend of mine found employment through Aerotek. -
