WHICH AUTOCAD LINEWORK TOOL IS THE MOST EFFICIENT? – LINE, SPLINE OR POLYLINE
Each of these three linework options has their own individual characteristics and can be used to create different results. But are they all equally valid in the workflow of a design office? My opinion based on many years of experience is a resounding…NO!
I think that one of these three linework options is vastly superior for maintaining an EFFICIENT workflow through all phases of design. This linework can achieve the same (or very similar) results as the other two without the associated negative effects of those two linework options.

It’s efficient and versatile in creating all the different AutoCAD linework solutions required for a design office. In my opinion clearly superior to the line and spline. The results of the survey indicate that most voters think the same thing. Thanks to those who voted!
I will update the DRAWING page soon showing the reasons why I believe that the humble polyline should be the only linework tool used in a design office.
