Capstone Project on Deforestation in Kenya + Finding Funding for Research. Any Ideas?

Have you looked into any scholarships through the Landscape Architecture Foundation (http://www.lafoundation.org) or the ASLA (http://www.asla.org – click the Education link and go to the LA Student and finally the Scholarships & Fellowships). Have you also searched under ‘green scholarships’ or ‘environmental scholarships’?  Maybe also consider talking with environmental and nature-based organizations such as World Wildlife Federation, etc: I’m not sure but there may be something there.  And don’t forget to talk to the different (not just the l.a. or urban planning ones) departments in your university: the professors may have ideas & connections.

Sounds like quite an interesting project. Good luck in finding funding.
