Climate Change Working Group

Hurricane Sandy was a tipping point for me (and I hope the community of climate change deniers as well, no disrespect). Anyone here know of a working group on climate change that is brainstorming creative ways we as planners and designers can advance the dialogue at the state and federal level on what needs to be developed, and soon, in the way of policy, zoning, coastal sustainable design, building code, to address what now seems more imminent than ever: routine disruption to coastal urban life?　Perhaps ASLA or USGBC is already doing this to a degree at the national level. Look forward to responses!
