Does anyone remember back around 2001, there was an assembly bill passed in California that allowed us, Architects, etc to submit digital signatures instead of wet signing the plans and have it carry equal weight in the approval process.

What was that assembly bill number and what were the terms, if anyone remembers.  I have a new wave of LA’s that are plan checking for cities that are requiring a wet signature on large projects with multiple submittal sets, and conveniently they do not remember that at all.

    Thanks

    JT
