Fog Harvesting – has anyone done this for water collection (outside of Peru/Chile)?

Of course there are fog desserts in several parts of the world and plants there have adapted to collect fog.

hi, wow… i never heard of such a procedure… we have so much fog here in northern California, will look into it. -cliff
