    The Library of American Landscape History (LALH) has just republished some books from the mid 1800’s and the early 20th century from some hall of famer landscape architects. Check them out here:

    It depends upon your interest. For theory, try Ecology, Community and Delight by Ian Thompson. Leslie Sauer has a good one on restoration called The Once and Future Forest. For large scale landscape ecology try Designing Greenways by Hellmund and Smith.
