Im looking for software or a method of building an image library where i can tag keywords to my photos for ease of searchability.
Company i worked for in the past used Extensis but im not sure i need such a big (and expensive) program.
Ive thought of using Adobe Bridge but im wondering what else is out there and what’s worked for you.

    Thanks!

Photoshop Lightroom is a fantastic tool, but you can also use Adobe Bridge, it takes a bit of getting used to and a few tutorials from AdobeTV.com but it also has built in connections with all the other Adobe products which can be helpful! Good luck!

Google Picasa works well.  You can tag, create albums, export, and keyword search.  There is also minor photo editing available.  However you can’t share your tags with others.  Tags are stored on your hard drive.

I think you will find most of the online photo hosting services support this.  Haven’t investigated deeply but I believe Shutterfly, Flickr, etc. all support this.
