Looking for some planting ideas for a project in Beijing, China….struggling to find current plant nursery stock list to know what’s available.  Looking for things such as Carex, Libertia, Poa, Scleranthus, Astelia, Coprosma, Hebe, Phormium and Pseudopanax….. or similar look in plants.  Any thoughts or ideas?

Beijing is a bit cold for that plant list, I think…. unless this is a rather protected site. And don’t overlook the importance of pollution tolerance.

Can’t the LDI on the project assist in this?

It’s a walled garden most of the way around with good tree cover. We are currently looking at ideas from the office here in Sydney.  The internet gives a good idea for some plants, http://www.efloras.org/browse.aspx?flora_id=2&page=1 found this great site. But we are looking for a few unique plants for this space. So a plant nursery list would be great, I hear there are some large nurseries that have developed with Dutch design and input.
