We have an underutilized plaza in our downtown area attached to some municipal buildings. The downtown area is increasingly home to families and people of different ages, but we’re short on recreational amenities to meet these new demographics. So we’re interested in revamping this underutilized plaza with a playground, a performance space, and ping pong tables. Does anyone know of a similar project I could look at as a precedent?

Downtown Greensboro, NC has a space that has been renovated a couple of times and the latest one includes performance, play, dog area, and games. I would imagine someone in the planning department might know the designer(s) and have some plans still on file.
