Anyone know what the rules are in New Mexico regarding when a civil engineer is required for grading? I’m looking at a residential project that currently has an 11% slope in the place where a driveway wants to be.

I would call your local zoning or building permit official, usually with a city or county. They are the ones that you would need to get permits from so they will know the local requirements.
