Hi Everyone;It’s amazing how a little rain makes the plants glow! This is the perfect season to plant and Sweet Lane has lots of tantalizing trees and shrubs in fall color mode! Of course, the Japanese Maples are putting on their show right now, along with the Pistacia, but many trees show interest this time of year. The Cornus, with their interesting fruit, the Hawthorns and Ilex full of berries, the Scarlet Oaks, just starting to turn color. We also have lots of Hydrangeas and Buxus in stock.
We have an amazing variety of conifers and dwarf conifers, many not readily available in nurseries here. True dwarfs like Thuja ‘Hetz Midget’ and Cryptomeria ‘Knaptonensis’ can be the perfect focal point for a small area. Visit our dwarf conifer section for more inspiration!
Fall is a great time to plant fruit trees to ensure a good crop next year and our selection is amazing! Figs, grapes, persimmons, kiwi, blueberries, nectarine, quince, pomegranates (full of fruit!) and of course apples and pears! We even have Jujube (Chinese date) trees!
