Hello, I am a staunch supporter/believer in the commons. I think a large body of public works is extremely important to innovation and democratic capitalism. We these arguments in open source software, copyright/patent and Internet freedom communities – but what about architecture?

Would you be willing to use “open architecture”? Such a use could be incorporating design elements in to your works that were given to the public by others or to contribute your works to the public domain for anyone one else to freely use?

Google ScetchUp and Google Earth provide some works sharing, ArchiCAD even has an in-program integration with the Google Earth Warehouse. What other peer productions are out there for architecture?
