This article is about the story of a student, a garden and the national obesity epidemic. An 11 year old middle school student inspires the fight against childhood obesity and promotes environmental stewardship with an organic garden classroom. With childhood obesity tripling in the past thrity years, designers can build learning envrionments such as this one in their own communites.
