Trees Near Pool Areas

Need help. Any suggestions for trees (not palms), which are recommended near pool areas? Plants should be able to grow here in Singapore.

My choice: Ficus lyrata? any more ideas?

Any type of mangrove plants will probably do better.
Take salinity (chlorine) and sun reflection into consideration.
Don’t forget dropping leaves, petals or other plant parts like fruits
