Viz Terra and Pool Studio?

Has anyone ever used Viz Terra or Pool Studio?  They are supposed to be 3-D modeling programs that are geared toward residential use.  My boss asked me to research them and find out if it is a viable option for doing 3-D models of our Residential projects.  I have tried using the demo version but have not had a lot of success with it.  I perfer sketch up for all of my 3-D modeling but wanted to try this out to see if it would make the process faster.  So if anyone can offer any advice or insight on this it would be greatly appreciated.  Also if you know of any other 3-D design programs that are good for residential I would love to hear those suggestions.
