AmanyParticipantThanks for the reply ,
What I am looking for is controlled beaches where you pay to access it , and you can see two different zones ladies and families and how landscape plays the part where it can be used as a barrier between them, it can be a visible or non visible barrier .
I am sure that different communities have different requirements of design , and this is where the Challenge will be brought to life .
Thank you

AmanyParticipantGarden History by Tom Turner , its about the design and philosophy from 2000 BC – 2000 AD
What I like about this book how its been arranged ; by highlighting on the same questions why , when, what and where of making gardens through history . Each chapter is devided into two parts , first explain the art and social effects of certain culture on creating its garden ,and second it shows examples of its styles the use and forms .

AmanyParticipantWhy ?
Maybe because its a good START and it improves the quality of rendering . Some people don’t have the talent to draw but they gain confidence from this book . Mike Lin showed us the ABC for rendering .. but Hey .. after that its easy to create your own STYLE . The key word here is ( Practice ) .
The main issue you are addressing is the type of media he always using .Markers are expensive , but he gave other alternatives .I bought lots of Markers just to know how to use them , but after that i really don’t use them . For me i like to mix water color with colored pencil and ink . Or can start with water color and ink the out lines in a loose way . What i mean the sky is your limit .

AmanyParticipantIn the office that i use to work in , we use the manual technique then we scan ( note the resolution size ) edit it in Photoshop for final presentation . And one of the first things that we do in Photoshop is to clean the lines of the traced paper ctrl + U , and have the line work on a separate layer then the rest of the work comes in different layers , trees, shrubs , ground covers , hardscape ,…etc .
