Graham TaylorParticipantThanks Wyatt. It is the municipality that wants this so I think we will have to do it. We are looking at the easiest way to comply with the request while not changing the complete office standard. Asking for a template from them is a good, and I think fair idea.

Graham TaylorParticipantThanks Mark. The municipality has just started to request this. I think it may be their GIS division and they haven’t fully thought of the repercussions for each private office. Intellectual property is a whole other topic that is important as well. We are getting all our questions and concerns together and will then get in contact with the municipality. We can’t be the only firm this will affect.

Graham TaylorParticipantThanks landscapeplanner. I haven’t heard of the layer translators, but will check it out. We realize it will be a lot of extra hours of work, which is why we are looking at our options. Luckily, microstation files are not needed!

Graham TaylorParticipantHave you seen this from a past OALA magazine, Ground. Fourth Page:

Andrejs Verlis, I never knew him personally but had heard he want into video game level design after school at Guelph. Unfortunately I don’t know how to get in touch with him, but I hope the article helps. It’s an interesting topic.

Graham TaylorParticipantHi Sofia,
You’re installation at the London Festival of architecture looked very cool. And I really enjoy your idea for the Washington monument. The thought to change a landscape based on the users reaction is very interesting and is in-line with what I think the current technology can easily do. Thanks for adding that. I would be interested in your thoughts further on the topic a little later as I develop the article as I’m very early in the process now. I will keep you updated.
Thank you for sharing the projects.

Graham TaylorParticipantVC, those were great! Especially Finsbury Ave Square because it is a permanent installation. I wonder how it is holding up several years after construction?
Thanks for all the links!

Graham TaylorParticipantThanks Andrew. Some of those exhibits are exactly what I was thinking of. Not permanent but they look like they could be incorporated into a permanent site. Looks like it would be a great event to visit!
