Hi Sara,

You’re response was correct. I’ve personally never came a acrosstamp would most liks a client that ask what you’re were asked to do. Anyways, you’re out of state would not be applicable, especially a for a grading plan, unless that jurisdiction allows it. When I worked in South Florida, the city/agency would only accept plans from a Civil Engineer, some or most jurisdictions in Fl. didn’t abide to accept LA’s.to stamp grading plans. I don’t know for Site plans.

Seek out CAD programs that have dwg as their native file format. That will narrow your search, BricsCad comes to mind. I would not recommend VWorks for that reason and the learning curve involved to be proficient. Best of luck.

Can anyone else comment on their test preparation for California Supplemental Exam. For example, being that I’m new in the region, I’m learning all I can on California Native Plants and their horticulture requirements. I’m spending most of my study time learning the plant communities most of them belong in, is this an overkill? Will anyone else share some insight in topic areas they’ve found challenging.
