I have been using VW for 5 years. early on I used SU to flesh out concepts and use for basic presentation. After a year or two I dumped SU to perform all 3D work in VW. VW has become more intuitive in recent versions although still not as simple as SU.

I had to balance the time and found the translation from SU to VW too time consuming.

There was a little pain getting up do speed, however can now say that the time efficiencies are better from go to woe. Plus the benefits of a more professional output.

To really add some bling and if the project warrants it, I export to Artlantis to producing final renders.

I guess I am talking about the process of taking concept presentations to working drawings.

I have the same question regarding the setting of a management fee, also I ask myself the following questions.

Should the % change depending on the cost of the job?, i.e lower % higher construction cost.
Maybe just simply charging at an hourly rate?

the irrigation system employed depends on the plant growing media being used (i.e. factors like water retention, etc)

I’ll send you a couple of pdf’s that describe the garden in more detail. This garden would work in Adelaide, the key however would be to implement the planting technology that I employed (http://www.fytogreen.com.au).

No tips, however the garden show is part of my medium term business plan. No work from the show as yet, however lots of interest, it is possibly too early to tell.
