I am still new to Sketchup and just getting started in learning, but was wondering if the free Sketchup version can also to some basic elevations and grades or do I need to get the pro version? I got the sketchup for site design book, but is that more for the pro version?

How does LEED ND differ from SSI.

does anyone know of speakers or events that discuss/educate/explain more about SSI, that are taking place in the Seattle area?

Well, As a LEED AP, I can tell you that LEED doesn’t deal with the spaces BETWEEN the buildings on a level that is watershed centric, site planning, soils responsive. barlow, I would really be interested in seeing what European style sketches are and what one would percieve is the common american style of drawing?

Anyway we can get some quick sketch technique (marker, colored pencil, pastel etc) and rendering tutorials on here ?

you bring up a good point..atmosphere is difficult to convey in hand drawn work. all I can think of at the moment is airbrush..
