    Pac NW Greetings!

This came across my Google Alerts just today: “Asante of Mesa, Arizona Transitional Rehabilitation Center Fills Void in Healthcare Continuum”
    http://tinyurl.com/y9vhh4v

    Notes:
    1. I have not personally visited this facility nor set eyes (nor feet) into the “healing garden” they claim to have (via the article).
    2. Mesa is a suburb of Phoenix – about an hour north of Tucson.
    3. Were you playing on visit Good Sam in Phoenix? Acute care hospital courtyard healing garden design by C. Ten Eyk and was featured in Cooper Marcus & Barnes cornerstone book.
    3. As an alum of Tucson’s University of Arizona MLA program (where I completed my thesis on Tx Gardens), I would strongly suggest that you contact the University’s LA department for leads… there are MLA students who are focusing on tx gardens. Two well-informed professors to contact: Margaret Livingston ((520) 621 5359 or mlivings@u.arizona.edu) & Laurie M Johnson ((520) 621 8790 or ljohnson@u.arizona.edu).

All for now. Best regards for your trip,
    Annie

    Tanya,

Thank you very much for your insightful, thorough, and sensitive response to the question of “how much”. I appreciate the larger, yet targeted approach to our dialogue that you suggest.

Your response is so well written and offers such merit that it must be submitted (IMHO) to various industry magazines (online and hard copy). We need to have the sensibility you champion in future discussions on this topic.

I would love to post your response on my blog — as my guest — as a way to virally reach and prompt reaction/action. Interested?
