I suggest just sending your CV and portfolio to any companies you’re interested in, and take it from there. Are you in Hong Kong at the moment?

Hi there,
I am a Graduate Landscape Architect, looking into some job opportunities in Hong Kong. Despite the Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architecture, could you suggest other web sites where to look for jobs? Is there any firm hiring at the moment?
Thank you,
Ale.

You should try out Hassell, Aedas, good ol’ Belt Collins, Earthasia and even Aecom. I also just read that ERM’s on the look out too.
Good luck! -

Hi everyone,
I’m moving to HK in January and will be looking for work with an LAR firm. I’m currently back in the US but worked in Beijing for 7 months last year and Shanghai for 6 months this year. I’m looking to stay in HK for at least 2-3 years, maybe permanently. I’ve been looking online for firms hiring but figured I would post something here…[Read more] -

To Andrew Slater, There are many species of plants from Bamboo, Climbers, Conifers, Grasses, Ground Cover, Palms, Shrubs and Trees suitable, if you can be a little more specific as to location in Hong Kong. Then I can give you actually what plants you require. James G. James Walker-Green < james@jwgspecialists.com>,

The project is covered under Public news (left hand column of website) then check news letter 15. There might be some leads in the article.

Hi everyone,
I have just won a small design job and looking for a bit of advice.
Can anyone give me a short list of plants that would be easy to source in Hong Kong and suitable for planting around an industrial site (ie very low maintenance!)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Many thanks
