If you have tendonitis in your elbow/shoulder or even wrist I think a tablet would only exacerbate the problem. Can you draw without pain? I’d say you’d be better off with a trackball mouse which require very little movement at all. Also, a tablet with software like autocad isn’t very practical.

I have questions about Vectorworks.. one of that is.. when I use VW for 3d site modeling, it becomes so slow.. I made layers simple, even classes.. But still slow..
I’m using ‘i-mac’ resent version. How I can make it faster? Change Graphic Card?
Up Grade Memory? Is there anybody knows about VectorWorks?

thanks for the help. I had some friends that recently took it and they read the Concise Guide to Community Planning, Basic elements of Landscape Architecture Design by Booth and Landscape Architecture by Simmonds. I will comb through Design With Nature to see what I can find. Thanks again.

We use Land FX; which it sounds like the same setup as Raincad. It is extremely simple to pick up on and their support is like no other. We have been using it for almost 5 years now without one complaint. I would give them a call and talk to their rep if you are interested.

I am also taking Section B in September. Last one to pass and this is the 3rd time I amunfortunately taking it. I took a review session in Rhode Island and they gave me the following three books to read that should get you in the right direction; Site Planning by Lynch and Hack, Design with Nature by McHarg, and Time Savers Standards.
