Thanks for the recommendation, Wes. $50 seems like a pretty good deal for seven practice tests and a 200+ page study guide.

I focused for a few weeks on the practice tests below, shooting for an average of 80% on all of them. It will let you know which topics you are weak on and then you can target those areas to perfect them.

Landscape Architecture is governed by title laws and you cant be called a Landscape Architect until you are registered. You can be an associate landscape architect or landscape designer etc…RLA or CLA designates that you have gone…[Read more]

UK Landscape Architecture 14 years, 5 months agoI’ll have to disagree with a part of the group comment, that one about Martha Schwartz. It is perfectly justified what she said about UK’s landscape Architecture and the impossibility of the Landscape Architects from UK to overcome some bad habits. She pointed righteously at back garden culture and I’d top it up with slavery towards public’s c…[Read more]

One of the major failures of Modernist architecture was its dogmatic faith in design being able to solve social issues by controlling behavior. That being said, one could help facilitate community interaction, the design centers popping up in every large city seems to provide a forum for interaction relative to the built environment. I would en…[Read more]

I live in a suburb our small nieghborhood was built in the early 70’s and we are surrounded by houses built in the 80’s and 90’s. 3/4 of our neighborhood is “originals” that built the neighborhood together. They are rightfully really close, built houses, raised kids, vacation, mourn, and celebrate together. Us 2nd/3rd neighborhood generation…[Read more]
