That is really funny to see you compare the two because it is a thought that has never crossed my mind.

Seagate Free Agent Go is good. Mine holds 500GB, but I think you can get one with more storage space. Don’t know if they are available at Best Buy. I bought mine from CDW for around $100. It just plugs into your usb port. All these products are easy to use.

Ingenuity.
Without knowing much about the socio-economic-political-environmental issues surrounding this farming practice, the image becomes the foundation of my argument. In the background you can see homes built with respect for their context. They are of reasonable size, staggered on the hillside, enveloped in a canopy of trees, hardly…[Read more] -

There are 2 programs I have seen used a great deal by Contractors both Landscape an just contractors in general. The first one is On Screen Takeoff or OST made by Oncenter Software. It is the most pricey option but it is a really good program and comes with training software and once you purchase you can set up an online training session with o…[Read more]

LARE Multiple Choice Discussion 15 years, 3 months agoHi all,
I am retaking Section B in March and trying to focus on my weaknesses which from the diagnostic feedback seem to be the Inventory and Analysis Sections.
Would anyone have any recommendations of certain chapters to read through? (That would pertain to Inventory and Analysis) I have all the reference books for B. I am afraid I will st…[Read more] -

ok, sorry, Mark, you don’t deserve to be the focus of the the abuse that I want to condemn our entire society over.
But still, like I have said in previous posts, ALL my studio professors in my MLA degree were working, just about – and working at the height of their talents and profession..There was a pipeline, in fact, from the school to job…[Read more] -

My first post was not a total jest. My second post, (the bad spelling post) was a total jest. Condemn me for a poor attempt at humor, but slow down the “it symbolizes the anit-academic ocean that has swept our society” train.
I did not offer the first post as a criticism of academics or learning. It was an attempt to present this id…[Read more] -

Ugh. This whole thread is just…stressful. And I get the feeling I am watching someone on a ledge about to make a bad decision because they don’t get that there isn’t work out there. 🙁 We aren’t being dramatic. It is TERRIBLE and I work in a part of the country that isn’t as bad as some. On one hand it is depressing to me that someone would have…[Read more]

post-bach school for architects and LA’s is the apprenticeship, in other words, the two (or three) years of work you need before you can take the test, Mark.
And I have to re-iterate my support for Henry and his valuation of the teaching of pure design, while in school. How many others have expressed that sentiment on this site? None, I…[Read more] -

I use an IOmega EGo which is a portable 500 gig portable hard drive. It works just like a flash drive and is plug’n’play in USB port (it has two USBs in case you have an older computer that does not have enough nuggets to power it from one). It looks like a slightly shorter hard case for glasses. I think I paid roughly $70 for it at Staples.
