Hey everyone, I’m so glad I found this site (more importantly that this site exists). I’m finding it hard to find good information on the quality of individual programs. Design Intelligence does a great job of ranking them, but IMO doesn’t go in depth enough. I did the Career Discovery at the GSD this summer and loved it. It’s hard to compare against that model. So far I’ve visited:
-UT at Austin- loved the atmosphere, small new program in a very established Architecture school
-Florida International University- Profoundly disappointing. (Not sure if I just got a bad impression) I would love anyone else’s take on this program.
Next stop University of Florida.
I’d really appreciate if anyone has any comments on LA programs in Florida. It’s such a tropical area; I worry about getting pigeon holed into a particular climate.
