Has anybody worked with stabilized decomposed granite for drive/parking purposes and know the durability of the product.  Will it last ~20 years as asphalt paving would?

Installed correctly, sticks around for a while (look at the parks in Paris), but will require topping off as it wears.  It does rut however, so you’ll need to make sure runoff isn’t running through it in large amounts.

We have found that wash out can be a problem even if well compacted. Proper Drainage is important.

As for 20 years…not without maint.

DG is not for driving on, as far as i know. Wonderful for pedestrian traffic, not working for cars.
