December 8, 2011 at 4:48 pm #159876AlessandroParticipantthat is very interesting
i think that a new way of introducing green in the buildings will also transform cities’ urbanism
December 8, 2011 at 4:45 pm #163915AlessandroParticipantI think that with exercise everyone can improve his skills in hand-drawing.
It’s enough to watch some tutorials on youtube and internet to learn a lot of new things: and to excercise.

July 22, 2011 at 10:43 pm #161381AlessandroParticipantI think that the most part of the cities’ urbanists don’t really take care of homeless.. but i saw some interesting projects for them… for example a good project was from an australian firm: some public benchs could became sort of beds with ‘roof’ for the homeless

I think that it’s good to choose fonts in relation of what you want to comunicate.
If there’s no time to think about it… helvetica neue is always good 😉
June 23, 2011 at 7:28 pm #162307AlessandroParticipantThat sounds strange for me, in Italy it is not used to ask to visit a firm if you are not looking for a job!

February 6, 2011 at 10:52 am #165277AlessandroParticipantHi, I would try to do it with just autocad and photoshop
I think that making good renders for landscape projects is really difficult and usually the results are not good
November 1, 2010 at 10:04 am #170817AlessandroParticipantI think it is really kitsch 😀
October 10, 2010 at 10:14 am #167375AlessandroParticipantThank you for your reply Thomas.
I know the importance of using “autochthonous” materials, but the problem i was referring is that sometimes them are more expensive than others coming from a different region.
The concept of sustainability is often again the economical concepts but i was wondering what people think could be a good intermediation beetween them.
Sometimes it’s not easy to build following those principles if the client don’t got so much money for it’s home.
You say that Sustainability, Ecology, and respect for the environment means the same thing but i think there are some differences:
– sustainability refers not only to environment but also to social conditions: it means to guarantee to people not only the possibility to live in a safe environment but also to guarantee them the possibility to live respecting their natural needs (socialization etc.)
– ecology mainly refers to the use of natural resources: the use of stones and rocks, for example, which are natural resources, could be a bad idea in a place where could be better use wood because of it big presence
– respect for the environment means the mix of sustainability, ecology and architectural choices: a building could be considered sustainable, made with ecologic materials, but not respectful to the environment if, for example, it has been destroyed a slope to built it, or blocked a river etc.Hope that you can understand my bad english 🙂

August 26, 2010 at 7:19 am #168191AlessandroParticipantI used some books or asked questions on specific forums on internet but as Rob said if you want to do a good work “knowing the plant in real landscapes is essential”… 🙂
