Thanks Guys!  I am familiar with the warm grey’s Toby, and I started mixing in colors with pale indigo and sunset pink but muddled the rendering a bit too much (it almost looks like a wetland).  I will keep it simple with just a 2-3 color combination and try that.  Brian I will work with this style, it always helps to see it applied, I do not have suntan but will sub a lighter color.  Thanks for the advice!

This is some really good stuff to know and consider.  I found this site to be very helpful not only in job searches but other avenues of the profession as well, Land8 does a great job with current topics and issues and I am very happy to be part of such a distinct group.  And to have other professionals comment and give their insight is only beneficial to my professional growth and development.  So thanks again!!!

Great discussion topic! I have thought about this for quite a bit and now that I consult for myself and although work is steady I have decided to pursue my MBA. I figure the work will come in and pick up in time, but what a great time to pursue a higher education, this can only make you more marketable in a very competetive market. I recommend pursuing a degree aside from urban design/planning or architecture just because it would limit you’re oppurtunities in such a saturated profession.
