We specify poured in place surfacing (i.e. Surface America) for public playgrounds, sometimes in conjunction with wood fiber. Have others specified surfacing in public projects that does not utilize recycled tires? Or materials that claim to not release toxic elements? Note, we would also like to see testing of typical poured in place, in terms of “pollutants” that flow from the runoff, and if it does.
