Xerophytic Landscapes 17 years agoYes, I agree with Mike on the Grevillea sp. re Navid’s post. The flower gives it away. (I’m also from Australia, so I’m familliar with the genus, although I’m not sure on the species of this one. Perhaps Grevillea ‘Long John’.)

Xerophytic Landscapes 17 years agoFibonacci again? Does anyone know this plant? Found in San Diego at 5000 ft. elevation.

Xerophytic Landscapes 17 years agoName that plant.
Looks like a pine tree from a distance with a flower that is reminiscent of a succulent. I think it’s a desert plant.

Residential Design Group 17 years, 1 month agoA member in another forum in the lounge asked a question about resume’s and CV’s- where might she find a template to create these.
Here’s an online resource I found recently that might be of use to some of you-I haven’t used it myself., but it does seem to have potential.

Xerophytic Landscapes 17 years, 6 months agoHi’s and Hello’s to you all. Got a short question for you guys. I’m not familiar with mesquite (Prosopis juliflora), so do you know if this could be propagated en masse asexually? Rumor has it in the UAE that the indigenous and endemic trees here are resistant to mass asexual propagation. I hope you can prove me wrong….

Residential Design Group 17 years, 8 months agoThanks guys for the responses. They were very helpful! Next time though, make sure to respond to the actual thread instead of posting on the wall. Once more threads get started, it could get very confusing if everyone responded on the wall. But thanks again for the help!

Residential Design Group 17 years, 8 months agoHere’s a list that may be helpful: Plant List
I like to use the iris and peony myself. I also mix in Irish moss where I can with the rocks to display miniature scenes of vegetation.
