    I vote for ‘Grade Easy’ too. Otherwise, go gather some used cardboards and starts building contour model. That is the best way to learn grading.

    I can only speak for what I do: Transportation Dept. Normally, Landscape Architect will prepare a construction document. After completion, the project will be advertised and qualified contractor can submmit their bids. The lowest bid will get the project. Construction document including plans, and specifications will have to be quite precised to avoid change orders during construction phase. You can read a bit more via this weblink:

    This is a big problem in SE Asia. I practiced in Thailand for a while. There are plenty of nursery stocks but not categoried. In Singapore, there is

    a nursery called ” Pasir Panjang”. In Bangkok, Chatujak weekend market is the place. http://www.bangkokcompanies.com/categories/thai_companies_p158.htm It is hard to sit here in your office and try to spec. the plants. A trip there would be helpful.

    How about typical block wall then green them up with creeping fig or Boston Ivy.
