3ds max + landscape architecture 17 years, 1 month agoLee, I would get the 64 bit version if you can. Michael had the same trouble with vista that you are having but figured it out . He might have some answers.

Design Technology 17 years, 2 months agoI thought I would post a few Grasshopper files that I made to help out in the site engineering department. They basically interpolate contours a couple of different ways.
The first one works on contour lines and the second on elevation points. I made a third for roads but I am not sure about it…[Read more]

BUSINESS HELPS 17 years, 2 months agoOona,
LEED has been growing extremely fast these couple of years, at least in California and the bay area. Clients, public and private, are becoming much more aware of LEED and are requesting that we follow the requirements whether they are or are not applying for accreditation on a project. About half of our office of 50 is now LEED certified.…[Read more] -

3ds max + landscape architecture 17 years, 2 months agoSketchup doesn’t have the accuracy. It is clumsy in comparison. I have never drawn a vector in 3ds 300,000′ on accident like I have in sketchup. One of the reasons you dont see process drawings in 3ds is that you would have to render them and due to the fact that 3ds is such a fluid process it doesn’t make much sense to do that. The idea that…[Read more]
