Hannah Galloway

Hannah is a Senior Associate landscape architect based at the Hassell Perth studio. She moved to Australia from the UK in 2003 and spent several years at Hassell Sydney before making the transfer to Perth in 2011.

A key strength of Hannah’s is her varied project experience ranging across several sectors. She considers the collaborative approach to be critical and enjoys working closely with all parties through an inclusive design and consultation framework.
Hannah has a great passion and interest in creating spaces for people which positively impact communities, focusing on connectivity and physical and mental well-being.
This experience and application has led to several of Hannah’s designs being recognised within the UK and Australia including AILA Design Awards and gold and silver medals at Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower Shows.
Hannah’s most recent project – Stadium Park at Optus Stadium was the recipient of two AILA National Awards of Excellence 2018 for the categories of ‘Play Spaces’ and ‘Urban Design’. This same project has also afforded Hannah the 2018 NAWIC (WA) ‘Creating the Best project Award’. This award recognises the achievement of an outstanding woman who has made a significant contribution to creating the best project.
As a working mum, her son Kobe, partner Riki, two cats and ten tropical fish keep Hannah busy, active and highly entertained outside of work.
