I’ve always believed therapy is much of what gardening is about. With all the disconnection I see in a world driven by materialistic competition, high tech and now the recession, I sincerely hope that ‘getting back to the land’ will help us re-balance. Being able to walk in nature or sit in one’s own harmonic garden seems to be so much more effective than pharmaceuticals. Growing food for the hungry seems to feed the soul of the grower. I hope I see an ever-increasing demand for therapeutic and restorative landscaping. It seems to me I see many more smiles on the faces of visitors to botanical gardens, parks and home gardens than I do in stores, banks and on the freeways.

Are you open to garden designers? My degrees were in design and art, not architecture. On the blog I have over 125 articles on design, plants, and some construction (I’m also a licensed contractor). If you are open to that, I’d love it if you included:

Thanks for the networking opportunity. (Figured you needed a 5* rating here.)

The double typing problem seemed to go away as soon as I queried it. I still can’t see the legend on my design, however. Another contestant said she could read it fine. I won’t worry about it so long as I know it is legible. IE was no different.
