True to both posts. “IF” you do a planting design, the palette will already be chosen, and you will be drafting a hand drawn planting plan.
Also, don’t come to So Cal, I don’t need anymore competition for jobs. Just kidding; it is almost harder looking for a PM or a Lead LA position to open up in this economy. -

Land FX does some of that. I’m not sure exactly what it all does, but I know it does planting, irrigation, etc.

It depends on where on the west coast, but if you are in So Cal, in the LA Inland Empire area there is OF Wolfenberger in Chino.

I used their nutrient mix with shavings for my podium designs. it is like 800 lbs per cubic yard instead of 2500 lbs for fill dirt. -

I have seen these and specified them a couple times. NDS has a product that is like the Netlon ATS, but uses a honeycomb pattern that can be completely buried under turf, gravel, decomposed granite, mulch, etc. I have seen it under turf and mulch and it works great. I am still am on AC 2006, but I have been using a block for my planting schedules for a long time.
