Hello Brandon – Many thanks for the two suggestions. Simutis’s work effectively simulates traditional watercolour (it may actually be watercolour). I had a bit of trouble navigating the Bowen Studios site, but that’s probably just me. Cheers, Laith

Hello Jeffrey – Many thanks for adding this suggestion of Alex’s work. An expressive style and some subtle effects. Have added a few of Alex’s illustrations to the collection on Pinterest. Cheers, Laith

Hello Llia – Thanks for adding to this discussion. I can see you have used accurate 3d models for the plants in the illustrations. Would love to see examples of larger scenes as well. Thanks for the contribution. Cheers, Laith

Hello Robert – Thank you for contributing to this discussion. Luis Callejas’ graphic communication style crosses over the lines of illustration, graphic design, and visual art. Intellectually beautiful work. Cheers, Laith

Hi Daniel. Apologies for this late reply. That’s great news you offer this service. Could you post a link to your on-line portfolio? The link in your Land* leads to a page in Japanese? Thanks.

    Hi Bob.

Thanks a lot for your input.

Ahh, yes. The great Daniel Tal. Mr Tal does very nice work. I think he is more into training and instruction than producing renderings for other companies. I could be wrong here. Worth checking this.

    Hi Peter

Many thanks for the suggestion. The work on their website is world class, and yes, it would be interesting to know the cost.

Is this software a commercial produce for sale? I checked the website but could not find a link to purchasing information. Thanks in advance for your reply.

You can try using IPE. This is a rainforest species plantation grown in South America. Verg good timber for external use. Sorry I do not have a supplier but I remember seeing samples in a couple of project meetings over the years, so it’s possible to get in the GCC.

Hi Eric. Thanks for the reply. How does Vectorworks handle other elements such as

    • railings and fences (linear elements)
    • landscape structures and furniture (compenents)
    • wall finishes
    • sub-surface drainage

Also which LinkedIn group is the discussion?
