Hello everybody. I’m new to this group.
I’m doing 3D renderings for living. We use Rhino (favorite), Chief Architect and Photoshop.
What does Travis want to know about computer renderings?

I think I’m gonna’ like it in here! Anybody working in the MacOS environment with plan graphics & colour rendering?

You can get Piranesi for watercolour effects.

i want learn to colouring like watercolor in Photoshop, any ideas?

For me great design is:
1. Creating memory places
2. Creating a sense of place (genus loci)
3. Guardian of identity
4. Interest of users health, safety and welfare

Travis, yes, a lot of modeling and rendering. Pretty much any program I can get but mainly Maya, Rhino and Digital Projects.

Very excited about this group. I do all of my best renderings on trace paper….just standard trace

My favorite markers are copic sketch markers because you can erase them from trace paper….

I love prismacolor pencils….

I draw all of my linework with a combination of prismacolor black pencil and staedtler pens……

Have not found any gabion details from EDAW projects yet – although i’ve seen some good photos posted on the Parc Diagonal del Mar project in Barcelona.

I’m doing a project with 3m high free standing gabion wall using welded mesh baskets (75 x75mm grid) filled alternately with sandstone and basalt to simulate coal seam profile. Does anyone have a detail for the structural support for this kind of wall? Thanks for any info.
